Cloud Storage

Bring documents from your cloud storage into Northwind.

Connect a folder, pull documents and spreadsheets in, and keep them linked back to the source.

Member-owned, scoped to what you choose.
Early Access

Dropbox and Google Drive are available for selected customers.

Both connectors are deployed for active customer use, with member-owned authorization (each member connects their own account, and only the folders they choose are accessible to Northwind). Other providers are in development.

What today looks like

How the connector behaves today.

Cloud Storage support is intentionally narrow today. The capabilities below describe what is shipping for selected customers, not a roadmap.

Dropbox · Early Access

Member-authorized Dropbox connections, scoped to the folders you choose.

Google Drive · Early Access

Member-authorized Google Drive connections, scoped to the folders you choose.

Member-owned auth

Each member connects their own account; access does not leak between teammates.

Folder-scoped

Northwind can only see the folders you explicitly select.

Source-linked

Imported files keep a link back to the original cloud-storage source for context and provenance.

Re-import after updates

When a file changes upstream, it can be re-imported into Northwind without losing the trail.

Other providers

Working on more providers, in priority order.

Dropbox and Google Drive are first because they cover the majority of design-partner workflows. SharePoint, OneDrive, Box, and S3-compatible object stores are on the short list, with priority driven by paying-customer demand.

If a missing provider is blocking you, tell us. Priority is set by who needs what, not by a generic provider matrix.

Where we say a provider is supported, it is in active customer use. Where we have not shipped yet, the page says so plainly.

  • SharePoint and OneDrive on the short list.
  • Box and S3-compatible object stores under evaluation.
  • Priority driven by design-partner demand.
  • Folder-scoped, member-owned auth model applies to future providers.
Bring your folder

Connect a real Drive or Dropbox folder.

Walk us through the kind of cloud folder your team works out of and we will show you how it lands inside Northwind.
